About
Dave Farr has always loved reading histories of the world, America, and his church.
He loves reading the biographies of great leaders and tries to adopt the good characteristics of those people he reads about. He was president of the Winslow Farr, Sr. Family Organization for 23 years and instrumental in holding several reunions and publishing more than 10 books on Farr Family History.
Six of these books can be found on the Family Books page including instructions on how to obtain them. He loves the fact that his 4th great-grandfather Elijah Freeman was a captain in the Revolutionary War and likely knew many of the leading American patriots.
Captain Elijah Freeman: Revolutionary War is historical fiction.

Before He comes in His Glory to judge you and me we can learn of His story by watching ‘
'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.' (Matthew 11:28-30)
'And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
'And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
'Whosoever, therefore, shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
'And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
'But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.' (Matt 18:2-6)
'And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
'Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.' (Luke 7:21-22)
'And again I say unto you, my friends, for from henceforth I shall call you friends, it is expedient that I give unto you this commandment, that ye become even as my friends in days when I was with them, traveling to preach the gospel in my power' (D&C 84:77)
